So I've softmodded homebrew and usb loader Gx onto my wii and downloaded the New Super Mario Bros wii iso. The problem is, wii only accepts Fat32 formatted flash drives. The iso is 4.5gb and fat32 only allows 4gbs per file. HOW CAN I FIT THE ISO ONTO FAT32 TO BE USED ON GX LOADER???

Aug 8, 2015You're right. Fat32 only allows data transfer 4GB or less, so ISOs greater than 4GB cannot fit on a drive formatted this way. This can be remedied through using Wii Backup Manager by converting the ISO to multiple WBFS files that are split into parts. For instance, that 4.5GB ISO of yours will be split into two WBFS files: one 4GB and one 500MB. Here's a post on how to do it. Hope this helps. - Cyan

in fact, after using WiiBackupManager to convert the ISO to wbfs, New Super Mario Bros Wii will not be split in two files.
WiiBackupManager only keep game's data and remove garbages located in the full ISO.
As a result, the wbfs file will be only 400MB ! (yeah, that's the actual Mario's game size).
Converting ISO to WBFS has the advantage to keep only game's data and shorten file size :)
if the game's data is bigger than 4GB, then it will split it in two files. Very few games are that big.
